Located on the South-east coast of Rarotonga, near the shores of Muri Lagoon and amongst beautiful tropical gardens and water ponds you will discover Muri Beachcomber. The property is just off the main road, nestled in a private location and offers a great alternative for anyone looking for accommodation that is small and intimate.
Drive time from the Airport is about 20 minutes and only 15 minutes to the Avarua Township. Muri Beachcomber has 22 spacious rooms and units spread out over two and half acres of gardens and palm trees with views of the lagoon and Mount Ikurangi as a lovely backdrop. The Seaview Units are the closest to the beach and offer amazing lagoon views.
The Garden Units, Water Garden Villas and Family Unit are behind the Seaview Units and are great for taking in and enjoying natures beautiful surroundings. In each room you will find all the necessities to enjoy a comfortable stay including air-conditioning for those warm summery days, private bathrooms, well-equipped kitchens with fridge and tea & coffee making facilities, in-room safes and hair-dryers.
There is a swimming pool onsite which is great for cooling off or there’s Muri lagoon only a few steps away for enjoying snorkelling, kayaking and stand up paddle boarding with the complimentary equipment provided by the hotel. The maximum occupancy taken in the largest room is 5 to 6 pax and this is in the Family Garden Unit. For the slightly larger families of 5 or 6 persons travelling together this is the perfect option.
**No children under 12 years permitted in Seaview Unit and Watergarden Villa, only permitted in Garden and Family Units. Infants under 2 years FOC.
