The Black Pearl at Puaikura is an intimate 12 room property situated on the sunset coast of Rarotonga. The property has recently undergone a refurbishment with all rooms receiving a fresh new coat of paint and a personalised local mural within. There are three room types to choose from. Each offering the simple comforts needed for a tropical getaway. All rooms are self-contained and spacious with elevated ceilings and ceiling fans to improve air circulation. Rooms have their own kitchens to prepare meals, private bathrooms with toilet and shower, and a private patio with outdoor dining set.
The Garden View Rooms each have a king bed in a separate bedroom plus a two single beds in the living area. The patio is a great place to relax, dine and enjoy the lovely garden views.
The Pool View Rooms are slightly larger than the Garden View Rooms, and can accommodate up to 4 people with a king bed in the bedroom and 2 singles in the living area. The patio overlooks the swimming pool and tropical gardens.
The Cabana Rooms are of studio layout—the perfect choice for couples but can sleep up to 3 adults with a king and 1 single bed. The patio also overlooks the swimming pool and gardens.
In the centre of the property is the swimming pool which is surrounded by wooden decking, green lawn, outdoor tables with bench seating, and sunlounges for relaxing. A BBQ area and gazebo with dining furniture located poolside is a great communal area to enjoy the company of other inhouse guests. Next door to the property is Kavera Central, here you will find a takeaway, and convenient store with a petrol station. Directly across the road is a long stretch of white sandy beach and blue lagoon, perfect for snorkelling, a stroll or to watch the stunning evening sunsets.
